Thanks to everyone who made an effort to come out to Compo Beach in Westport on Saturday, unfortunately the weather won out and shut down the skate session. We will be rescheduling a trip back soon so stay tuned for the date. In other good news, the main man behind the creative efforts & super cool gallery at DayOne and his wife are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. Ella Von Wahlde was born today June 18th. Congrats to Mike and Jen!

Don't forget this Saturday DayOne heads to Compo Beach Skatepark in Westport at 5:30pm. Helmets required. I'll be giving something away. I'm not sure what it is yet and I'm not sure what will win it. Maybe we'll have a best trick down that huge rail off the side of the half pipe? Would flair points count as extra? On Wed, June 21st DayOne will be closing at 2pm for Go Skateboarding Day. "Wild in the streets of Fairfield" is going down and will be starting at 11am. For more info go here. Lastly, the es game of skate on June 30th will be changing venues.
